For Eligible Caregivers
Caregivers of ESH clients can tap respite care services and get connected to fellow caregivers and befrienders through community activities and training courses.
Examples include:
- Kopi Talk
- Pot Planting Workshop
- Insurance for Families with Special Needs
Continual Education & Learning Courses
For Eligible Persons with Disabilities
Continual Education & Learning Courses are typically delivered in closed group settings for ESH clients, focusing on building capabilities and skill retention.
Examples include:
- Basics of Money Management
- Beware of Scams
- Puppetry Workshop
Who can enrol?
You can enrol with ESH if you are:
- Between 18 and 60 years old
- Singapore citizen or Permanent Resident
- Diagnosed with disabilities of the following nature, or are caregivers of persons with these disabilities:
- Physical
- Intellectual (IQ level of less than 70)
- Sensory (Visual Impairment or Deafness)
- Autism
- Living in the region, where ESH is set up
- Not enrolled in any Government-Funded Disability Services
If you are not enrolled with ESH, fret not! You can still participate in the inclusive community activities, and can explore the rest of our Enabling Guide and Caregiver Learning Roadmap for more information on the support available for you.
Who can volunteer?
Regardless of whether you are a person with disability, caregiver, social sector professional or simply a resident in the neighbourhood, we welcome you to volunteer with us.
As a volunteer with ESH, you will get to support our outreach efforts, facilitate inclusive community activities, befriend persons with disabilities and help improve their social skills.
